Why I’m Running

I’m running for Del Valle ISD Trustee because I believe good governance matters, especially in a growing district with important decisions ahead.

For years, I’ve worked alongside families, educators, community leaders, and public institutions. That work has taught me the importance of listening to the people most affected by decisions, asking thoughtful questions, making information accessible, and creating meaningful opportunities for community voice.

Del Valle is growing, and that growth brings both opportunity and responsibility. I want to help ensure the decisions we make today support strong academic outcomes, responsible long-range planning, and greater opportunities for our students.

I’m not running because I believe I have all the answers. I’m running because I know how to listen, learn, ask questions, and do the work.

Our students deserve a district prepared for the future they’re growing into.
